- Empty thread spool
- Thin cardboard
- Paper
- Hole punch
- Pencil
- Ruler

Directions
- Cut a 4 inch square of cardboard
- Punch a hole in the center of the cardboard square
- Glue on side of the spool to a piece of paper
- Cut around the spool
- Glue the other side of the spool to the piece of paper
- Cut around the spool
- Punch the pencil through the thread spool
- Glue the spool to the cardboard - make sure the holes in the cardboard and the spool line up
- Wait for this to completely dry
- Blow up a balloon - then twist it
- Stretch the mouth of the balloon over the spool
- Let go of the balloon - it may need a few nudges to work
